Music is my life, my love and my profession. After studying music and psychology in Russia I emigrated to the UK in 1999.My main work is teaching the piano in particular, classical, Jazz and improvisation to professionals who work in a stressful environment. Over the years I have developed a number of methods, including music maths, specially designed to develop both musical skills and use the right side of the brain. This method reaches beyond music to help reduce stress and improve memory.
My youngest student to date was four and the oldest was 85. Studying music at any age with any experience develops musical thinking, the primary characteristic of which is flexibility.
Music is an artistic reflection of life, a way of communication, a way of cultural study and self-development.
